HIA – Sydney
The Housing Industry Association is Australia’s largest residential building organization. Members include builders, trade contractors, design professionals, kitchen & bathroom specialists, and manufacturers & suppliers.
The challenge was to design and construct HIA’s new head office in Sydney, from an old derelict warehouse that was purchased recently, to a high end premium facility.
HIA’s requirement was to co-locate two businesses HIA and AON with separate entry points and identities with common meeting and training facilities, along with breakout areas. Multiple training rooms were provided, that can be opened up into a large function room and can be used independently after hours.
Apart from complete internal refurbishment, substantial work was required to the base building, including structural strengthening, addition of staircase and lift for compliance, additional facilities, render, paint and complete with new car parking and landscaping.
