DrillSearch, an oil exploration company, relocated into new tenancy in Sydney CBD, as their operation continues to expand. The design included reuse of some of the features from the past tenant that were feasible to use in front of house areas, to help stretch the budget.
Requirement was to future proof the office layout by provision of linear work-points, which could be configured as one desk module standard desk or two desk modules large desk necessary for certain Engineers, which can be converted to two standard desks to enable them to expand in the future.
The fitout was designed to cater for various professional groups in open plan environment, as well as to provide a quiet individual work points and team interaction environment. The executive team were located in the offices. Feature wall treatment was introduced in the offices and open plan areas with glass magnetic white boards that can be used for displaying maps and drawings, as white boards or as feature panels.
