The client’s goal was to unify several components of their operational structure within the one location in the CBD.
The Mac Services Group is a leading integrated accommodation provider specialising in meeting the specific needs of people living and working in remote key resource regions in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia.
The client’s design brief was to provide a dynamic office space over two floors whilst encouraging greater interaction and communication among staff and reinforcing team building and the embrace of its corporate values.
Our solution to the narrowness of the floor plate was to provide angular cellular spaces to the lift lobby which in turn created a natural path and focal point for guests to the Welcome Area.
A cut-out within the feature wall to reception was introduced to preserve the visual connection between back of house and front of house.
The sleek contemporary styled reception also opens up to conference facilities for larger staff gatherings and client entertainment areas.
Coloured feature ceiling elements and floor treatments to central meeting rooms allowed an element of fun to each space which reflects the Mac Services Group company image.
